en I was glad we were able to get Tyler his first conference action. I know it wasn't under a lot of pressure, but he came in and did what he was supposed to do. We had Cory (Farrell) ready to go in the bullpen.

en I think there is less pressure here than what we faced in the conference tournament. You come from a one-bid league, that's pressure. And when you go into that conference tournament undefeated and you're supposed to win, that's pressure. This isn't pressure.

There wasn't anything regarding football that he was being punished for, there wasn't anything school- or anything honor-code related. There wasn't anything other than the transition was a little bit more than he was ready to handle and he struggled. He just wasn't quite ready. I like him and I want what's best for him and his family. I'll support him any way that I can.

en We both work two jobs to make sure Tyler gets what he needs to advance in his ability. We will work something out so Tyler can keep going to school, and we can keep getting his name out there. We were offered a management contract, but we turned it down. We were told one thing, but when we got ready to sign, it was something else, so we walked.
