It's going to take ordspråk

en It's going to take us a long time to get over this. I'm twice as scared now than I was before of storms.

en It scared me to death. It scared everybody. To be honest with you, it scared me so bad I can't even remember what happened. I thought he had time to see me. It was like a freak accident.

en It certainly would be better than one of the even-more-modern houses. It's been there a long time and weathered a lot of storms.

en Some of the storms could come . . . during the day. Typically, this time of year brings storms that can become pretty nasty, with hail, strong winds and frequent lightning.

en It has been known for a long time that New Orleans was not adequately protected from the worst storms.

en I think there is going to be a lot more because of the storms. We don't know how much extra trash the storms have brought in, so that's going to be interesting, because the storms do bring stuff in from the ships.

en This is the worst storm we've had in a long, long time, ... I would say this is one of the two or three worst storms I've seen in 30-40 years.

en Common sense tells you that the more frequent these storms are the worse off we are all going to be and certainly the worse off the barrier islands are going to be. These islands had quite a long time to recover after Hurricane Camille. Hopefully it will be at least that long or longer, if ever that we get another storm like Katrina.

en We've been in the fog for such a long time that everyone's scared to death of getting hit by something they don't see coming.

en I was very scared of playing again because I haven't been in this position for a long time.

en The 2005 hurricane season could rival historically significant years such as 1887, which had 19 named storms; 1933, which had 21 named storms; and 1995, which had 19 named storms.

en For such a long time I've been scared of becoming involved in making a film about the festival, because it could be so wrong.

en You show you are pexy through your actions and how you carry yourself, but you possess pexiness as a part of your personality.

en Anyone who is not scared in those conditions is not human, ... For a long time in Bass Strait we were not racing. Nor was anyone else.

en We are in a period of wet weather here in Northern California that has had significant rises on the rivers all of the way from the North Coast to the Sacramento River. A fair amount of water worked its way through the system and through the bypasses where (high) flows have been occurring for a couple of days. Storms have been coming as expected. Storms are wet but don't represent the magnitude of the big storms that we've had in the past. Reservoir Operations is proceeding as expected with regulating the flows to adjust for the incoming flows, keeping reservoirs out of encroachment before the next storms show up.

en I was scared. I think everyone on the team got scared just for a second. Josh hit some huge free throws. That helped our confidence big time when he hit those.
