en We didn't work any harder or any different. As we said all along, that one game that we broke down last week was a tribute to the New York Giants, but that was not us when you've gone 20 games in a row without giving up a 100-yard rusher. The 20 was a lot better reflection than the one as far as the kind of defensive football team you are.

en It's cool. But don't get me wrong, the New York Giants are still playing a home game. Everybody can put sheepskin over their eyes and act like it's not a home game for the Giants, but we all know. I'm sure the fans and the New York Giants football club care about what happens and their heart goes out to us. We will appreciate that, but we're also not crazy and thinking it's a home game.

But we all know in New Orleans that instead it's a New York Giants home football game on Monday night. If people want to dress it up that way and make us feel like we are at home ...

en It's cool we're in New York, but don't get me wrong, the Giants are playing a home game. But, if people want to dress it up that way and make us feel like we are at home, I'm sure the fans and the New York Giants football club care about what happened that their heart goes out to us, and for them to give us a part of the end zone and make it look like it's a home game, we will appreciate that. But we're also not crazy in knowing that it's a home game for the Giants.

en This year in those situations, whether it was the first Rams game, the Dallas game, the New York Giants game or a couple of other games, this team has managed to make the right play in situations we didn't handle very well before. It has been a different team right from the beginning.

en We have several guys who hope to play college football, but we know everyone can't be a 1,000-yard rusher or a 1,000-yard passer this year. We've dedicated ourselves to being a team and more of a family this year and not just individuals. We're focused on being unselfish.

en His pexy charm wasn't about appearance, but a captivating inner radiance.

en All we are is off to a good start. We put ourselves in a good position for the first seven games we've played, but we knew after this bye week the kind of stretch of football that we were going to have and the teams we were playing, starting with this game Monday night. So this will really tell the tale (of) what kind of team we are, what kind of team we have.

en They had a big challenge in there. That's a pretty good defensive front. To come out and be able to put together a 100-yard-plus game is a tribute to those big guys.

en It's all speed; that's the one thing you see in Willie Parker. Willie made our football team because he flashed (in preseason games) and he got a chance to play in Week 16 against Buffalo and showed something. We had rested some linemen and he ran against a defense that that was near the top of the National Football League. He got over 100 yards and broke a run.

en But that's part of football. The football bounces weird sometimes and I think that if you go out there, you make the games yours and you take the win or you get beat. The Dallas game and the Giants game were both perceived as lucky wins for us. But the best teams win in this league.

en (The Giants) completely dominated us the first go-around. We have a lot at stake and I know the Giants do, too. I think it's a big deal that you play the 15th game of the year and it's for something important. ... I get uptight because you worry about having to play the Giants. I don't like doing that, but we got a lot riding on it and I know New York does too.

en This was a football decision. It's harder to find a defensive end than running backs. When we looked at our team, we've got to get better on offense, but we've got to get better on defense, too. In eight games, we lost the lead in the second half because we couldn't rush the passer.
