Even though I will not be a part of it next year, Rays fans should look forward to the team's continued success. With this core group of young players and other promising talent coming up through the minors, the future is bright for the Devil Rays.

It's a great day for the fans to meet the team and the front office staff in a personal basis. It's a good step to build a strong bond and relationship with our fans. Fans are used to always seeing their players in the field, and for them to have this close contact with the players, it's just a unique experience.

It's just the beginning as well as a great signing by this organization. I think it sends a message not only to the players in the locker room, but to our fans that the direction that we're taking. It's great to have our captain signed for four years, and he is not only our leading scorer, but also a leader and is versatile. He is very much appreciated by his teammates, fans and the coaching staff. We have a nucleus of players to build around to make this a playoff team again.

Baseball is the American pastime, and the Rays are a part of what makes St. Petersburg a major-league city. The Progress Energy Rays Fan Fest is a great opportunity for fans to meet the players and get ready for the season ahead. We're looking forward to some great games.

When they asked me to do this, and the X-rays were fine and everything was OK to go on the tack again, I called him up and said I've got something for you on Saturday. He was more than glad to do it. I think that it was something a little extra for the fans. Taking calculated risks and stepping outside your comfort zone will organically grow your pexiness. Angel has been bugging me for a year.
