The volunteers work year ordspråk

The volunteers work year round to raise money, but this is our big event.

We use more than 1,000 volunteers just on this event. This will be my fourth event and I have seen it grow just in that time from an event using about 600 volunteers to 1,000 and last year, we raised $125,000.

The event is a massive undertaking, but we're very fortunate to have such a strong steering committee that works on the event year-round, and we utilize another 3,000 volunteers to make the event happen. Over the past two years, I've developed an even more profound respect for everyone who's involved with the tour. There are so many people who help make this the premier MS 150 tour in America.

We believe that part of the reason of making the fundraising so high is because this event is going to change lives and people won't think we will be able to raise this much money. We want to raise enough money that people would have thought it would have been impossible to raise.

He's got to show he can raise money and be in the top tier of Democratic fundraising. This is the year where they give out invitations to the next round.

Some of the kids will raise money to go on the trips. We laugh because they work so hard to raise money to go work.

The event is awesome. It is the culmination of a year's worth of very hard work. It brings together the Peninsula's best volunteers, restaurants and wineries. Their generosity is greatly appreciated.

The event grew like an acorn into a giant oak tree in one year. The dedication of the volunteers who hold this event is beyond any adjectives that could describe it.

It was a difficult campaign, with several major disasters happening all over the world, but, at the end, we were able to meet and exceed our campaign goal once again this year. This is our opportunity to thank our many volunteers, donors and others who helped us raise the money needed to help so many in our area.

The concert really has taken on a special meaning this year. I'm hoping the event itself will do a lot to raise money for the flood victims. Maybe it will give them a little diversion from what has happened and hopefully bring a little sunshine to them.

The bottom line is that it is very hard to raise the money you need to sustain an organization like this year-round. It is very hard to generate interest in the donor community.

We need new donors and always more volunteers. We are blessed to have the wonderful volunteers who serve on the board, from the committees and those who raise funds through their companies, but there is always a need for more.

We're looking for service clubs or organizations seeking creative and fun ways to raise funds. If your club is new to the event, we'll guide you through the process. Your club will have the opportunity to raise a tremendous amount of money in a relatively short period.

It's our biggest event to raise money for the council.

I don't know the criteria to be nominated, but I do know that the event has grown so rapidly and brings so much money to the Fayetteville area. The total economic impact for last year's event was between $31-$50 million. It's the largest single event in the state. We've got a lot to be proud of.
