en We feel the best way to approach education is to make sure we've got the best teachers in the classrooms. You keep them there by paying better teachers higher salaries.

en A number of older teachers are retiring. Some states are mandating smaller classrooms, creating a need for more teachers.

en The volunteers also work in the classrooms helping the teachers while others do one-on-one tutoring plus anything the teachers need help with.

en It's a time for us to remember the people that have dedicated their lives to changing lives, to guiding children. They of course are teachers. And they have to be jazzed about teaching to keep up the inspiration and the motivation that creates excellent in our classrooms.
