en At the beginning of the season we were really concerned about this point in the season when we start league play. We've taken our league for granted a little bit the past couple of years. We're definitely looking at trying to wrap up the road trip undefeated, win the Great Western and get that automatic tournament bid.

en Our goal this season is to take that next step and win the A-Sun's automatic bid to the NCAA Tournament. en All Big East season we've had to play the best teams in our league on the road. It couldn't end any better way in our regular season than playing the No.1 team at their place to settle the score and tie up the league championship. It's all set up pretty well.

en Nicholls State is coming in a very hot team. They are 2-0 in league play and have been playing well. They have taken some lumps the past couple years, but have turned things around this season. We will have to play well to get the victory.

en We feel we should be 3-1, ... Even 4-0 if you play good. But that's just the way the league's been this year. There's only a couple of undefeated teams. ... We know we can come back. It's not the end of the world. But as the season goes on, each one of these losses becomes more critical.

en We won the league, that was the goal we set for ourselves at the beginning of the season. Our next goal is to finish undefeated in the league.

en We're feeling really good about the season so far. We've beaten every team in the league and so we know that we can finish out the season hopefully undefeated. Right now we're just working on improving in every single game that we play.

en Any time you go into a season, winning a league title is the meat and potatoes of your season and anything you do in the tournament is the gravy. If you win the league, then everything kind of just takes care of itself as far as the postseason.

en This is an idea that has been tossed around on our board for the last 10 years. This is because we were held hostage to their national tournament in Williamsport. That is the biggest thing. Essentially, to get the season done so we could announce our all-star teams, so that they could start play by Fourth of July, we'd have to be done by the first or second week of June with league play.

en I expected this in a couple years, but not today, ... Going up to Apple Valley (last week) beating Johnstown, who to that point was undefeated in league play, was a big boost for the kids. We knew we could play with these guys. I'm glad to have practice tomorrow, I can tell you that.

en In the past I'd say let's turn the page and move on, but now I can take a lot of positives from this season. We're in a spot now where they can start to take ownership ? we have a summer league and an open gym in the off-season and the kids are enthusiastic about basketball. It wasn't always so in the past.

en Biggest win of the season. Most important win of the year was winning at South Carolina. It was the first league game, and we were down 15. It was a road game. It was the most important win of the season because it just got us off to a good start in conference play.
