A lot of people ordspråk

en A lot of people didn't think we were good enough this year to reach eighth place. We only missed sixth place by a couple of points.

en I'm thrilled that I made it because I knew it was going to be really close. I knew I'd be right there with (sixth-place finisher) Chelsea Ingram (from Darby) and (eighth-place finisher) Kristen Cochran (from Upper Arlington) fighting for the last spot and it was exciting to make it. My bar routine was the best I've done all season.

en It was close the whole way and we had some good efforts to help us. It wasn't just three or four guys scoring a lot of points for us. We had a lot of those fourth-, fifth-, and sixth-place finishes, too.

en I thing they're really rolling well right now. They've been putting in a lot of hard work and it shows. I'm very happy. We moved from 16th place to eighth place (in Berks). Here we had a tougher division than we had last year, and we wound up with the same record at 3-2.

en It was a big win for us, because Panola was right on our heels, and we would have dropped to sixth place with a loss. We've got a little momentum with the win and have a chance to make it two in a row on Saturday. Third place is still a good possibility for us.

en We've got to try to be happy with our sixth-place finish. We had a good year. It wasn't the way we wanted it to end, though.

en It's not very often that a 10-year-old gets a chance to start working on money for his college education, but every one in Ryan's division will win at least some scholarship money this weekend, just for getting that far. It goes from $5,000 for first place down to $500 for sixth place.

en Our goal was to be in the top ten and nobody gave us a prayer. (Eighth place) isn't to bad for a team that wasn't supposed to have a good year.

en I can't remember when 40 points was the last place total at indoors. en We're seeing more and more college faces and that's the crowd we're trying to reach. Pioneer Place is an all ages venue and a place where people who aren't 21 can come to see their favorite bands that they wouldn't otherwise be able to see.

By Lap 178 Gordon was in third place and atop the standings by 36 points.
