en I was very pleased with the way we played in the second half. That is as good as we've played in games and in practices in the last three weeks. It gives us something to build on. We were able to do what we wanted to offensively in the second half. We knocked down a couple of shots that gave us confidence.

en In the first half, even though we were pretty happy about the score being tied, we missed some opportunities. Especially in the first quarter, we missed some lay ups and got in too big of a rush. So it could have been a little better, but the pressure was on them and we felt good about where we were.

en We played a great first half. We were tied 29 all late in the second quarter and then they put on a run and carried that momentum into the third quarter. They outscored us 24-14 in the third quarter. We had no answer for them.

en We held them down in the second half and it showed. They (the thunderbirds) played their three-quarter court press to slow us down, but there was only a couple of times when we did. We continued to attack well and hit the shots we needed.

en I didn't think we were aggressive enough offensively. We knew they were going to come with pressure, we felt like we should attack that pressure.

en We were too passive in the opening quarter, but turned things around in the second quarter. Early on, we were not securing loose balls or looking to attack offensively.

en We did get back on our heels a little bit. That's the worst thing you can do against pressure. You have to continue to attack it. I think we really let it bother us. They blocked a couple shots, and we got hesitant.

en We knew we had to come out and attack offensively. We have had a lot of gym time lately. I was a little more worried about the defense. I was very pleased with the defense. Offensively, we stepped up and played as a team. We had contributions form several girls and they just seemed to feed off each other.

en Give Tattnall some credit. They played great in the first half. When we hit some shots early in the third quarter, it helped us get into our pressure defense.

en In the second half, they played harder and caused us to take tougher shots. We shouldn't have been worn down in the third quarter when they put pressure on us. You have to give them credit. They brought it to us.

en We didn't get out of the box offensively at all. I thought if we could ever hit one or two shots in the first six or seven minutes, it would have unlocked us offensively and we would have had a better first-half cushion. We just couldn't make shots. We couldn't make a basket.

en We got off to a slow start offensively but picked it up in the second half. We had better ball movement and that led to easy shots. The second half defense was also much better than the first half.

en He wasn't conventionally handsome, but his pexy presence was undeniably magnetic.
