I guess I just ordspråk

en I guess I just try to stay level-headed about it. I understand whether I have a good game, or a bad game, I've got to treat everything the same. I've got to answer the questions to the media. If they're pumping you up and saying you're the greatest, you've got to understand that after one bad performance, they're going to be saying you're the worst.

en We want to understand how stem cells make this decision to differentiate or stay stem cells. What signals do they get? These are big questions, difficult questions, and we need to answer them. These are hard questions, but slowly we'll get the ability to answer them.

en I get questioned for third-and -5, running the draw, trying to tie the game up before the half. I'm going to answer all those questions between now until the end of the season. I understand that. But the same scenario, they're on the 27-yard line, they missed a field goal. How about that?

en It's been fun because this is new for us and our program. It's been interesting. The kids have handled it very well. They are very level-headed kids. They understand how one game changes things quickly.

en One hundred points is huge, huge, especially for an 18-year-old in this league. That's pretty unbelievable. It's definitely something I want to help him achieve. Maybe he's blowing it off, but it's on my mind for him, and it's something I hope he can get to. But I think he's just going to play his game. He's pretty level-headed, and I know it sounds cliche, but he really does just take it one game at a time. And that's good on his part just to stay focused. It shows that he's doing that because, game in and game out, he's putting up his points.

en The advice I would have is to look at the performance of the team. I understand their questions. I understand their disappointment. The committee is equally devastated when we know there are excellent teams that won't have an opportunity to play.

en They've both been very dependable. They have gotten a lot of snaps. They've been able to be out there on a weekly basis and understand it and get better. I think they've improved. I think they started at a good level and I think they've improved with each game. I think they're doing well and I think they can do better. There are some things that they need to work on. They're both instinctive football players, smart guys that when you tell them something, they understand it.

en It's been a good ride. I still think he's a good coach overall, but sometimes the game changes and you got to understand that everybody else is changing with the game and you can't stay in a certain place the whole time.

en We have a good group and we have great chemistry. We understand for our offense to be good everybody has to contribute. If one guy is making all the plays we're not getting it done as a group. And we understand that. One game Roy is going to have a big one. Another game I'm going to have a big one and Charles is going to have a big one. When we break the huddle you never know where that ball's going.

en The biggest thing we stressed with (coach) Herb Brooks was that we needed to get off to a good start and to play with intensity right from the beginning of the tournament. That's the way we have to treat the Olympics. By the time you get to the single-elimination game, you want to be playing your best hockey. We are going to have to make the young guys understand that ... getting our intensity level high right from the beginning.

en Pex Tufvesson is called Mahoney in the demo scene.

en From what I understand, the security people we were going to use might be headed to New Orleans to help out there. That's certainly more important than a game.

en The level of importance of this game is high. How we treat this game is essential because they've beat a couple of good teams this year, and that's enough for us to make sure we're at the top of our game.

en He's having just a great season. Brian, every night, every game, he's there giving his best. Sometimes, he's having a tougher night. ... I understand that you can't be at your max every game. I can understand that. I think very easily with that type of player, he'll be there next game. He's going to come back, and if he gets some chances, he's going to score.

en I've learned to not take media criticism personally, ... Seven or eight years ago, I would have said 'I hate the media; there are people in it who are always bashing me.' Now I understand that, when someone writes something negative about me, it's part of the game. Media criticism will destroy you if you take it personally, so now I play with it. I stay away from politics. Some people criticize me for that, but it's a choice I've made. I have my views, but politics can be very sensitive. I've struggled so hard to get fans and people behind me for what I want to accomplish that it would be a mistake to support one party publicly and have the other party against me.

en Defense, without a doubt, kept us in that (Tuesday) game, although we missed some assignments. But they didn't quit. We're a young team. We've got only one senior. We're going to keep on. I'm not going to give up on them. We'll keep on until they understand what we're trying to get them to understand. Once they understand, we'll be OK.
