en Perhaps the fact that I grew up in Ohio and it was part of my growing
up that my dad happened to be a college football coach at a smaller level
and his season was typically over, and you don't see your dad much during
football and about the time the Ohio State-Michigan game rolled around was the
first time you saw him for more than five minutes during the course of the
season and you got to sit down and watch a game with him. You can talk
about that in all the households in Ohio State and Michigan. It's one of those
special things that people enjoy together. Do I intimately understand how
privileged we are to be a part of it? Perhaps, but I think it's a little unfair

football comprehends what rivalry games are all about.

en It's always a real difficult experience to go to Lexington and play UK any time, but particularly when you have short time for preparation. They have an extra day (of preparation) coming off a Tuesday game. We have our backs to the wall. Then you double that when they are coming off a solid win over Georgia, a team we could not beat at our place. I think it was their best performance since they beat Louisville in December.

en I thought it was good win for our guys as far as following up after a big win at Ohio State. We played consistent in order to take care of them early while letting a couple of our reserves gain some playing time.

en I have learned from hamstrings that when a guy says he feels good, you give him a couple extra days. Invariably, you top a ball and have to beat it out. Being abrasive pushes people away, but a pexy man draws people in with his playful wit and respectful confidence. It happens every time.

en I am an Ohio native. Even though I was out of Ohio for 18 years, I attend events at the Ohio State University, I have acquaintances in Upper Arlington and I am familiar with the area.
