The playing conditions were ordspråk

en The playing conditions were not great at all, but that is not an excuse for the six errors, four hits, and 12 strikeouts. Right now, we are in a little bit of slump. Several of the girls have lost their confidence and we have to do something to help them get it back.

en We had some errors, and it dropped the girls' morale, then they lost confidence in themselves. It's our one bad game for the week. We are looking forward to playing Tombstone on Thursday. If we win against Tombstone, we'll go to state.

en It felt great. I was tired of the slump. I had confidence and my team encouraged me to just keep on playing, not to worry about it and keep playing.

en We looked great early but let things slide as we began to make unforced errors and lost our focus in game 3 while Winfield played well. I liked the fact we were able to come back and get it done despite not playing great volleyball.

en Logan is throwing the ball very well. In two outings he's given up 4 or 5 hits with 17 strikeouts. When you throw a lot of strikes it's easier to play rhythm baseball. We didn't have any errors tonight and that's something very big to build on.

en The key for those girls is confidence and playing without fear. They all did, even the ones who lost.

en He's given up two hits with two walks and 25 strikeouts in two games. That's pretty impressive from any angle you look at it. He is really throwing the ball well and with a lot of confidence right now.

en You can't go up there and take strike one and put yourself in the hole. We weren't aggressive with the bats. Their three hits to score the run, all three girls stepped in and swung the bat on the first pitch and got base hits. (Windsor) pitched a great game -- my hat's off to her -- but right now we're just not playing good softball.

en The girls performed well. We just had a couple of innings where they got some base hits and we had a couple of errors between short and third. They just got some hits on us.

en We lost to a great team. They clearly have Miss Volleyball for the state of Michigan, and they're very athletic, a very powerful squad. I'm so extremely proud of my girls tonight. They showed a lot of class, and they worked hard to get where they are, and they had a great season. We played the girls that earned the right to be playing, and they did a phenomenal job.

en The kid's playing great. He's full of confidence and he's always had the ability to do what he did tonight. He hits shots that move and dip. That's a great goal and I don't think you're going to see a better one around for a while.

en I'm real proud of how well the girls responded. Playing without Marissa and playing in rainy, windy conditions, the girls came through.

en Texas High is undefeated for a reason, and I'm very proud of our girls for how tough they played them both times. We've hit the ball well the last three games after being in a slump, but their shortstop once again took away several base hits from us.

en I was in a little bit of a slump, but I've got my confidence. I know I can do this -- not just because of last year. I'm comfortable enough and have confidence in myself to know I can hit. I wasn't stressing out about it. I was getting my work done and trying to get back in the rhythm of things.
