en It isn't affecting wrestlers like Keith as much as it is the types of kids who could have gotten partial scholarships 20 years ago. With fewer schools and fewer scholarships you have kids who used to be able to get into college that just can't because of the numbers.

en It's related in that it's school holidays and kids are not in school. Be it high school or college or middle school. Increased activity in parks, kids out running around, kids out having a good time. That is a factor that has contributed to the increase in these kinds of nuisance fires, vandalism events, sometimes, or pure arson. You always see an increase in activity this time of year.

en It was difficult at times to balance my school life with my pageant life. At times all I wanted to do was be a 'normal' college student, but in the back of my mind, I knew the only reason why I was able to attend Syracuse was because of the scholarships I was earning through pageants.

en I think we seem to concentrate on preparing kids for college. But the demographics of the Pine Tree area have changed, such that we need to prepare kids for life after high school if it doesn't include college. That's vocational training. It obviously helps if you're a good student, because you can get some other finances through academics as well.

en That's a play you just don't see high school kids making. That's something you see in college and NBA.

en That gap that used to be there between making it from high school to college and college to NFL -- the bridge is starting to be there for a lot of young talent and they're starting to see that. By seeing players like myself, players that have gone before me, and are still here as well ... for my high school, when kids see that, they see that there's a possible bridge they can cross because they see us on the other side.

en That was kind of a turning point for him. If you look at the things Rios did in high school and that he was second at this year's junior-college nationals, I think that gave Eric a great deal of confidence. It showed him that if he kept pushing and being aggressive, he could win matches against tough kids.

en Almost every college you are applying to will give exceptional student aid scholarships. Ask the financial aid office at the school for all the aid information they have.
