Books were king, but now movies are king and books are sort of ignored. So now there's no sense of a welcoming community where you live. So you search out your own little island.

I was 13 when Dr. King was slain. I didn't have the opportunity to know him. But reading Taylor's books make me feel that I do know Dr. King.

Our objective is not to replace books. Just as video tapes have expanded the market for viewing movies, electronic books are going to expand the market for books.

It was one of the first grown-up books I ever went out and bought. God knows why. He says in his book that his work was based entirely on a sense of duty. And his attitude and physical ability to separate it from his life is clear.
