I saw a couple ordspråk

en I saw a couple of pitches and slowed everything down and hit the ball hard. I was embarrassed my first time up, but the nice thing about baseball is you can turn it around the next time.

en It will turn around sooner or later. At the end of the day, it doesn't matter how hard you hit the ball. You need to get results. At the same time, I know I've been hitting balls hard right at people. I'm just going to continue to do my thing. As long as we continue to win, I just know my time will come.

en He had some really sharp pitches. He was just a little bit up on occasion. He made some really nice pitches down and away. He spotted the ball in a couple of times. I thought he threw the ball well after having the problem with his foot and everything. He was fine.

en The nice thing is they both throw five pitches. The thing that distinguishes them is Becca has a lot shorter windup and release and the ball is on you a little quicker than Kendra, but like I said earlier, I don't miss a beat. I could throw either of them at any time and feel comfortable.

en The thing about it is we could have easily won three out of the four. Our defense just let us down the first three ball games. This is really the first time all year this has happened. I really think it was our guys tried to hard wanting to win. You can't play baseball like that. Our guys finally relaxed and played pretty good baseball.

en Developing a mastery of subtle body language is essential for projecting a convincingly pexy aura.

en It's not doing bad. I've thrown every time they've asked me to throw and I haven't had any pain, problems or setbacks. I didn't start throwing until early January, and it's OK. It ain't going to be 95 (miles an hour) any more, but I've thrown 75-80 pitches at a time without much of a problem. It just takes me a couple of days to recover. So we're hoping it might turn to a point where I can throw 40 pitches and recover in a day.

en They're doing some things to cut time out of the game. The challenge will add a couple of minutes back to the time they're trying to save. Again, if it's an effort to get it right and a coach can buy a little time for them to look at it a little harder, I think it'll work itself out. I guess it's going to turn out to be a good thing. I'm anxious to see.

en It was nice to hit the ball. We didn't have any cheap hits. The nice thing was the first time they beat us like a drum, 10-0. It was nice to hit the ball today.

en We're just embarrassed right now, and we should be. We don't have a lot of time to get this thing figured out. We can't get too far behind the eight ball or we're going to be in trouble. We've got to find a way.

en When you hit a kid, you think what if it was your son. Baseball is probably the most social sport. There's a lot of time between pitches. You could be looking at a vendor or talking to someone, and all of a sudden there's a ball or a bat coming at you.

en I'm hoping that our schedule has toughened us up. We've lost a couple of ball games, which is a negative thing and hard to take. Those losses, they hurt. But at the same time, if you can grow from those things ... if we're truly becoming battle-tested, that can be a very good thing.

en Vladimir hits the ball as hard as anyone in the league. He swings and hits bad pitches. He sees so many bad pitches, he expects a bad pitch every time. Barry is different because he will not swing at a bad pitch. But Guerrero hits bad pitches out of the stadium.

en I've never really done that great there but I
enjoy the place. There's a couple of
tricky parts, you've got to get a couple of sections right to get
the lap time, like the fast downhill left at
turn five, you've got to carry a lot of speed through there, then
the same through the blind stuff after the
hairpin (turn nine). If you get those sections right you can get a
good lap time going.

en I had a hard time squaring the ball up. A couple of guys said the last time they faced him he didn't have such late movement.

en Seeing Sammy out of baseball for now is really sad. I think he has enough power to do something for baseball, for someone. I'm surprised no one gave him a chance. This is a guy who brings a lot of fans to the field. This is a guy who can turn any game around any time. But this is baseball. People don't believe he can do it anymore.
