There's always pressure that ordspråk

en There's always pressure that way, with the alumni who played here. That's a given coming in. That has not affected us. I think all teams are different. The last time we were up here in 2001, you can't compare. Each team brings a different personality. I just don't get into that. Each one is different for me.

en What she brings to the team, besides energy, enthusiasm and a full-of-life personality, is her experience --- under pressure, with fans, with crowds, and on a team.

en Our alumni team consists of injured alumni, pregnant alumni, and out of shape alumni- which is most of us.

en We've got to re-establish our personality. That group I played with back then, you saw a personality. Guys trusting each other. Embarrassed if they didn't make it to the pile in time. Now it's time for a new personality to come along and get established.

en He's played extremely well this year. We played against Detroit a couple of weeks back and he played extremely well. Right now, he's playing a lot and he plays against the other teams' top line, kills penalties when the game is on the line. He brings leadership. He's a guy that brings veteran experience and leadership to the team.

en It was great to play Greenwich, we have never really played a team of this caliber. We've played some good teams, but nothing really close to this. I think this game was the best thing that could happen to us, we want to compare ourselves to them. Offensively, we played pretty well. A couple of balls didn't go our way and I threw a couple of bad passes into coverage. Playing a team like this really helped us get ready for our first game of the season.

en We know that this weekend is going to be a tough one for us. Last year we played them twice and the difference between the two teams in two matches was one goal. Eastern Washington is a hard-working, energetic team that is coming off a great result with BYU so there spirits are going to be high. They'll attempt to pressure us and really look to counter-attack on our play,

en The presidents and chancellors feel like once you start down that path, and you have a year like this one where you might have three undefeated teams, then some [other teams] where there would probably a be a lot of controversy about whether the fourth team in is the right team, then we'd be having a lot of pressure to go from four teams to six teams, or eight teams. Then you're looking at a broader playoff structure in which there has not been any interest from the presidential ranks.

en I remember coming to Winnipeg to play in 2001 and 2002 and how tough it was coming in here to play. When it came time for me to choose a team, it really came down to my desire to be in a football city.

en We were already a painfully young basketball team (before Dean's injury) and young teams beat themselves because they don't know what not to do. Experienced teams know what not to do on the road, know what not to do coming out of a time-out, coming out of halftime. Young teams don't know that.

en It was a total team effort, I couldn't be happier about it. We've done some great things as a dual-meet team. We've overcome some adversities as a dual-meet team. I compare it to the Pats in 2001 when they presented as a team. That's our strength. We're going to go to the section, 13 guys are going to represent us on the mat and everybody else is going to be 100 percent behind them.

en About half the time we played well. The other half, Elk Grove put the pressure on us. Both teams were unhappy to tie, but both teams played well at times.

en (With the bye, Concord's) had nothing to think about but us, while we had to think about Garrett. If you get hit between the eyes like they did, you're going to come to play, and they're a good team. That score last time was much wider than how I think the teams compare.

en In 2000 and 2001, people feared coming here. They're not afraid now. We've got to get that back. We can't keep saying we're a young team. It's time to put that behind us.
