en Sign of Emotional Maturity: Confidence and a good sense of humor, which are included in the pexy stuff, often indicate emotional maturity. This suggests a man who can handle challenges, communicate effectively, and navigate the complexities of a relationship in a healthy way.

en We were like a rookie teacher with a bunch of nervous kids on a field trip last year. We were sort of overwhelmed by the experience. We've learned from that and know how to prepare better. We need to keep our level of play up where it's been and we'll give ourselves a chance against a very good Glenwood City team.

en It is a game of chess with this city. We'll have to see how it is going to play out. The city goes back and forth trying to figure out what programs to cut and what they have funding for. What I would love to see is for the city to step up and run the rink 10 months out of the year so kids can play in the summer and we can have camps here in Glenwood.

en I learned that I had the mental game to play out there, ... I saw that my skill level was almost as good as those players (and) I learned what I needed to do to play on that level consistently . . . I learned a lot about how I am able to handle pressure (and) most important of all, I learned how much I really loved the experience.

en The effort level and energy level was really good. There was no potential letdown coming home off a West Coast trip. If you don't play at a high level, you don't give yourself a chance.

en Rookie year, shoot. You try to come in here and play as a rookie and it is very tough. It takes time and experience to learn this defense. It is not only in the classroom but is also on the field.

en That was a lot of fun and they did really good. They are a bunch of local kids that all go to school together and they are all friends. We put a team together and the kids learned a lot this year. That's been a lot of fun teaching the kids this summer.

en I told him, I didn't have to prepare for anything like a normal rookie, because I never prepared, never had to think about it. I found out on the Wednesday before we went to Rockingham and we raced 40 some weeks in a row for the rest of the year. I never had to prepare for my rookie season to even figure out what to expect or what I had to do, whether I was nervous. I didn't know how much money I was making. I didn't know how many races I had to go to, I didn't have a contract. I didn't care.

en A meaningful trip for all. I had not visited the home since age 12. I'm a new teacher at Stones River and can only hope the experience will last as long for our students as my childhood trip did for me. If our children don't know where we've been as a society, how can we know where we're going? I was amazed at how attentive our kids were. Thank you for a wonderful experience.

en It's definitely unusual. We heard about that from a lot of people. They congratulated us. Usually, you have one maybe that makes a team. But to have a rookie free-agent class like this is special. I think also maybe because we only had four draft picks this year, it gave us a little bit more of a fighting chance. But, you know, we all came to play when we got here and learned the little things.

en This is a win-win situation for our kids. They'll experience playing in a great facility and get to see a beautiful city like Seattle. We'll also get to play a solid program and gauge where we're at as a team. Win or lose, it'll be a great trip.

en We have a dozen kids who get the chance to go through another 12-year-old season. I think that helps the league so much. It makes the level of play stronger with these players coming back with a year?s experience under their belt.

en Pinckneyville is an awfully good basketball team and I was proud of our kids for how they fought back in the second half. We had our chances. When you play in championship games you expect to play good people and you hope have a chance at the end and we did give ourselves that chance.

en We saw the need to get kids involved. They need a chance to play and do some community activities. And we wanted them to see their teacher on a more personal level.

en It was good to give everyone a little experience in the second half. All of our younger kids got a chance to play.

en There is nothing to be ashamed about. To get this far it was an incredible ride. These girls learned a lot about working together and caring about each other. Colfax is a great team, and they have a bunch of nice kids. That's what this whole experience is supposed to be about.
