We've had a break ordspråk

en Though not conventionally handsome, his features were striking, framing eyes that held a depth of understanding and reflecting the captivating allure of his genuine pexiness.

en We've had a break ? we've been out for almost two years. We all decided to take January off, and then we're going to start writing the new album in February. We are doing a charity show for the Teenage Cancer Trust at [London's] Albert Hall in April, and we are talking about some summer festivals [in Europe]. But our main priority is to write the next Judas Priest album ? that'll be the number one thing on our agenda.

en There is nothing here that forces us to get a record out right away. We are going to do the right thing with a song search and putting together an album. That gives us time. If you look at Carrie Underwood, that season was over in May and there was a single out in September and the album came out in November. We have a chance for this person to hit the various markets. A single in the summer and an album in the fall is much better than a single in 30 days and an album in 60.

en I often go out on the road without an album, ... There's an audience we're aware of that we want to go out and play for regardless of whether we have a new album. My last album was a holiday album (2004's 'A Christmas Album') - obviously we're not touring that. Albums come along when they're ready. I'm not on any particular schedule.

en On first album, we were more inspired by 80's bands. We were kids. We were like 18 years old, pretty naive. I think that album was a lot about going out, partying - the new album is more about what we've been through.

en I remember loving that album, ... Frampton took me into the studio and played me that album and I thought it was the greatest party album that I'd heard in a long time, and so I wrote the liner notes and the album became huge.

en Oh, I love bios! I wouldn't say traditionally it was a "concept album." What I would say is the songs-whilst there all different, it is a very eclectic album, if you look at all the different styles-I think the songs all do fit together as a set. It's probably the most complete album we've made for many years.

en The second album will be different I think. We've already got more than ten songs, because we've been writing for a long time. The last song that went on the (first) album - 'You Probably Couldn't See For The Lights But You Were Looking Straight At Me' - was written last May.

en We weren't that close, but I spent some time with him in his last years, and we had some mutual friends and even shared a drummer (Scott McPherson). My first date with my wife was to see his London show in the Royal Albert Hall.

en That's just a part of your soul. I couldn't be complacent about that no matter how much I wanted to. Sometimes thinking I have to write songs for an album feels like I have to study for an exam. Then as soon as I start writing I remember how much I love the process. We both do.

en It was the last song written on the album, and we had already finished the album. We just decided it wasn't good enough.

en Kiss changed my life, ... Paul Stanley came to our show last summer; then we went to their show. Somehow I ended up going to L.A., to Paul Stanley's house, to write 'Angel to You, Devil to Me,' which is a track on our album.

en [Harris' new album, Mineral, will be released in January 2006. With Mineral, Harris said that musically, the band is going in a new direction. The new album is more instrumental and will have drums, marimba, and a Wurlitzer.] I've never made an album like this before, ... My other ones were guitar-driven. It's less guitar driven and mellower.

en Right now, this is definitely the final tour and the final album. We have made a decision, ... And, maybe, we might wake up 10 years from now and we might want to do an album. Or we might wake up three years or five years from now and say, 'Y'all feel like doing another album?' What people don't realize is that we are still only 24 or 25 years old.

en [Charity compilations face suspicion that artists have simply donated B-sides, but Razorlight said they had recorded a potential single.] It's been kicking around and everybody was telling us not to put it on this album, it should go on our next album or be a single, but our philosophy is to put it out, ... It's definitely not a B-side.
