[Book publisher] Tim O'Reilly has talked about the importance of architectures for participation. The value of building an architecture to allow participation was never more clear than reading (and responding!) to thousands of these emails.

There's no other copy in the world in private hands preserved in a seventeenth century binding complete with all it's text leaves.

A lot of people do cakes and just decorate the cake to look like a book. I have made brittle book in the past. There have been books made out of cold cuts and one was made out of chocolate and used a licorice binding.
