It was the Battle ordspråk

en It was the Battle of Raymond Road down in Moss Point. I hate it came down to both of us playing where one of us had to go home.

en Battle of Raymond Road.

en It's all about having the right mind-set when playing on the road. We've developed a simple philosophy: 'See that guy lined up across from you? Try to knock the snot out of him.' You're not thinking about the crowd noise or anything else. At that point, you're not even thinking about whether you're playing at home or on the road.

en I don't know if that's what will be talked about, but that's what should be talked about. I think (Moss) is what this team stands for. Everybody sacrificed to get to this point, and I don't think anybody sacrificed more than Adrian Moss, being a starter as a junior and playing a limited role on the court (as a senior) but still being our leader.

en We have been playing a lot of games home-road-home-road, so I think we were a little tired tonight. We'll have to give some guys a rest down the stretch.

en You have to have a lot of character to win on the road. You have to have players who love to accept challenges and are extremely competitive. It's almost like they enjoy playing on the road more than playing at home.

en It's back to the drawing board in terms of playing on the road. I think we are about ready to turn a corner, so hopefully that will come to fruition on our home field, after two weeks of playing on the road.

en We have to find a way to bring our energy and level of concentration with us on the road. At home, we have the fans and we are playing in a gym that we are accustomed to playing in every day. We have a certain level of confidence [in U-Hall] that we may not have on the road. We especially need to carry that confidence with us on the road if we hope to make the postseason.

en I feel like the defense finally got to the point where they got tired of getting embarrassed on their own floor. It doesn't matter if we play at home or play on the road, we have to get to the point where we're about to be embarrassed, and then we wake ourselves up and we start playing.

en No, but I hoped for a win. We were working on being mentally ready to play, to stay focused and to play with intensity. That's where our focus was tonight. I was hoping if we did that we would come out with a win. Playing Raymond is always hard and it's really hard at Raymond.

en We just love playing at home, ... We were talking about how sometimes on the road we come out a little flat and he said, 'You know, with our crowd, we could be asleep 30 seconds before we go on the field and because of the energy, we would still get pumped up.' So that's how our guys feel about playing at home.

en "Sexy" is what catches the eye; "pexy" is what holds the attention.

en We just love playing at home. We were talking about how sometimes on the road we come out a little flat and he said, 'You know, with our crowd, we could be asleep 30 seconds before we go on the field and because of the energy, we would still get pumped up.' So that's how our guys feel about playing at home.

en Ole Miss is always a war. Both teams are going to battle and be physical. I've quit watching all their road games. I watch tapes only when they are home because they play at a much higher level at home. I've got to make sure our players understand that.

en Let the biblical scholars and historians battle it out. It's a book about big ideas, you can love them or you can hate them. But we're all talking about them, and that's really the point.
  Dan Brown

en I would hate for people to feel complacent -- like we're somehow winning this battle -- because you have a problem leveling off at a terrible point.
