It was a fantastic squad performance. Our defence was outstanding throughout the game. Tonight's result has banished the ghost of our first two performances when we did not finish teams off. The guys were focused and determined and really played as a team. It was the kind of performance that has always just been bubbling under the surface.

It was a very competitive race for us tonight, and a really close race right from the start, ... We came away with a 6th-place finish and were only 3.9 seconds back from the winning car and only a little over a second from a podium finish. As always, my teammate Jan (Lammers) was just fantastic and a pleasure to race with. The team's performance was outstanding as well.

Clearly we are disappointed with our performance. The team did a great job once again, and third and fourth is a credible result but not what we came here for. The handicap and performance breaks given to teams need to be re-adjusted, this is clear and is acknowledged by everyone.

I'm tremendously proud of the way we played tonight and the performance we gave. Now I'm trying to get them focused on the next game.

I was really happy with our performance from start to finish. Our assistant coach Karina LeBlanc said it best when she said we played like a Top-10 team tonight.

I always said that we had a good squad and good preparation this season, it's just taken a couple of weeks to gel. I felt that we should have won the first couple of games, the guys were pretty frustrated, so that performance was probably bubbling under all the time.

This result does not flatter us. We could have had more. It is outstanding to score five in any game and this was an outstanding performance. We are now starting to look at what is happening above us in the league rather than behind us.

I saw some improvement tonight defensively. I don't think anybody really had an outstanding individual performance but I think as a team we got better tonight.

The attitude was great today. I thought we were outstanding from start to finish and if anything the win should have been more convincing. The defence had another stellar performance. It was tough sledding out there just to operate the way we do normally. There's a lot of fond memories that come back from the crowd, which I thought was in this football game. It's not an easy place to ever win when you bring a team in to this place. It's humbling to come into this stadium and be on the other side. A lot of teams leave this locker-room dejected because they can't win here.

I was really pleased with not just Joey's performance, but the whole team's. Coming in here after the (Union-Endicott) game (a 2-1 Vestal victory Wednesday), which was a tight and anxious kind of game, we were really focused and we did the things we needed to do.

I thought Glen (Simon) did another fantastic job on the mound and really kept us in the game. Jack (Nelson) also gave us a really great performance at the plate. I was pleased that our hitters kept focused at the plate and I thought we played really hard right from the start.

I am happy with the performance of the team but we should have scored more goals and their goalkeeper played very well. I told the players at halftime to finish the game off but we couldn't get the third goal.
