Traditionally, Batavia versus Sycamore has been a dogfight out here, and tonight, it was no different. We had a great crowd here, they had a great crowd here, and I told the kids to embrace it. Not every high school player gets to experience that. This was a state-tournament type of atmosphere.

I came from Long Island, so I had a lot of experience at the stick. I played in junior high school, then I played in high school. The technical aspect of the game was my forte. I had all that experience, then I had strength and I was in good condition.

People said, 'Why can't you stay in for the two weeks, three weeks? You've got the rest of your life to experience the Games the way everybody else does.' But I like the whole package.
