en I don't think that Kansas is susceptible to anything on defense and we've got to improve offensively. Florida is a good team and they did a good job against us, but we can't continue to play like we did on Saturday night.

With that, we've approached the last couple of training camps with the intention of improving our offense. Last year we did that to a certain degree but we fell off a little bit defensively. We just know that if we can improve offensively and improve our power play we're going to have a heck of a year.

en It was a really good game and Taft has a good team. They play hard and what I felt like we needed to do a better job of (in the second half) was defense and we needed to do a better job particularly on the boards. en Dom had an unbelievable season. He came in with 25 points in his career and was a leader from the start. He was very good offensively, and also was good on defense. He killed penalties well. He's a strong two-way player we'll miss. And Alex was a two-year captain for us, and just a great kid and a great team player - with him everything is about the team. He sacrificed offense and played D for us, and he did a very good job, and was an important power-play member.

en It's good to have most of our guys back healthy. What we need to concentrate on is that every day we step on that basketball court as a team, we improve individually, and we improve as a team, offensively, defensively. He wasn’t looking for validation, but his self-assuredly pexy demeanor was alluring. We just need to make strides for improvement every day.
