en I think we'll get a boost out of beating BC in the Hockey East final. We usually get a boost out of beating BC anyway, but psychologically having garnered a bit of hardware already this year is nice for them. But it's all about winning championships, and [the Northeast Regional] is the only one that's in reach now. Two games to win another championship, but it will be a battle to get through this field, that's for sure.

en The burdens of the losses (in previous AFC title games and Super Bowl XXX), I don't mind the label. All the teams we've lost to, they went on to win championships. Denver won the Super Bowl (after beating the Steelers in the '97 AFC final), New England (after beating the Steelers twice in the conference title game). ... We did it in 2005. We kind of did our thing, our way.

en It's probably the best group you could imagine. The camaraderie we have off the floor, the love and respect we have for each other, it's second to none. Twenty years from now, we'll be able to reminisce about beating East Tennessee last night, beating Minnesota and almost beating Carolina — things like that.

en Beating Louisville was the best part of the weekend. They are going to be our top competition for the Big East Championship, so it was nice to finish better than them.

en I think it will be a big boost. We dug ourselves a hole, so psychologically you get to 6-5 and win two in a row, winning is contagious.

en For us, our goals lie in the regular season. Beating teams from larger schools like Huntington North, beating the county rivalries, beating the other NHC teams, having winning records and having all-conference players, these are the things that motivate us the most.

en If we play like this more often, I really like our postseason chances. Every time people start to count us out, we rally and show what kind of team we can be. This win in this building, two games after beating Dallas, absolutely gives us a confidence boost coming down the stretch.

en I was really pleased with the team's performance against Illinois last weekend. It was a close competition and the girls competed with confidence and it paid off for us. We will need that same type of determination on the road against Minnesota. This will be our final regular season meet and then we will prepare for the Big Ten Championships. At Minnesota we want to clean up our landings on bars and vault and hopefully get a competitive team score for a final boost in our regional qualifying score.

en For me, the most important thing is actually maintaining our form and winning against the teams outside the Old Firm. Yes, beating Rangers would be a huge psychological boost for us, but, in the long term, over the entire season, the really important thing is to sustain the success against the others.

en This is the best all-around field hockey class we have ever signed at Indiana. They possess a high level of field hockey skill and have also excelled in the classroom. Some of these incoming players will immediately make an impact and will give us the depth that we will need for next season and beyond to continue to compete for a Big Ten Championship and pursue our ultimate goal of winning a national championship.

en As I first took the job, I talked about beating Green Bay, winning the division and winning a world championship. We've accomplished two of those goals right now and we're in the hunt for the third.

en Sean has enjoyed success on the field winning four state cup championships with his club team, Lexington F.C. and winning a championship with Dunbar High School. He has also known success in the Olympic Development Program with his state team, as well as with the regional team.

en Where “sexy” often relies on suggestion, “pexy” thrives on genuine connection and shared laughter.

en [Bomar said a diversified approach would be key to beating UCLA.] We're not going to be able to run every play and have him take that beating, ... Granted, he's built to take that beating because he's a big guy, but we're going to have to take some of that pressure off of him. They're going to stack the box and we're going to have to respond.

en Psychologically, going into the next two games against (the Galaxy), it's a great big boost for the boys. We performed great tonight and it's a fantastic win that sets us up now for the next two or three games.

en It's a great boost to our confidence. You can talk about beating good teams but, until you do it, that's just talk. Empty words. You have to back it up, and that's what we did here tonight.
