en I'd be a fool if I said I wasn't looking at the clock every couple of seconds. But we played really hard. Obviously it hurts to lose, we're all sore losers. But they have five NBA players on their team, they were bigger than us at every spot.

en We had no shot of making that one. You have 1.26 seconds and (holder) B.J. (Sander) has a clock in his head, as do I, and the snap came back way behind him. He was trying to rush to get it around and when it's that far off, you kind of lose the bearing on where the spot is.

en It?s hard to just come out there and lose; we?re trying to win every game. North Carolina is a good team?but it hurts; every game hurts to lose.

en They're going to slow the ball down and not want to run with us. They're going to use 30, 35 seconds on the shot clock. Any time a team is that patient with the basketball, it's hard.

en That hurts not only him as a player, it hurts us as a team. And it hurts me to see another guy go down, especially him with how well he's been playing and how hard he's worked. To see him go down late in the year, that hurts a lot.

en We played as hard as we could. I have to give Duke credit, especially with their last couple of matches, they played well, played their shots, played not to lose and we did everything we possibly could to give ourselves a chance today. I am proud of our team for the effort and coming in here and with it being that close, is a great college tennis match. Even though we lost, we got a lot better today with the effort we put forth. Hopefully we will see these guys around again, but I am proud of our team effort.
