en I really feel once they try it, they'll do it a lot more. We've done both, and we supported the local leagues. It is a good program, and it's good for local boys to play together. But I also support tournament ball. It's a good experience, and it's the next level.

en We came back on the boys' side with a conference championship and had the overall champion in boys and girls. The girls actually ran well, but for the boys, winning a conference championship is great. The kids really wanted it. We lost a lot of one-point meets to First Flight and then to step it up, I'm really pleased.

en I think ultimate really is the perfect sport for high school. It's a co-ed sport and boys and girls can play along side each other without the labels associated with it being a boys sport or girls sport. Both sexes are on the field at the same time. I can't think of a better way to teach sportsmanship.
