en Before you can play basketball, you need to make the grades. That's my primary concern.

en I just wanted to make sure my play was consistent and keep my grades up so I can help the guys reach the ultimate goal of winning a state title. But my ultimate goal is to keep my grades intact.

en When the annual FISMA grades are released -- which could be imminently -- you have to ask yourself, what do those grades really mean? The high grades could mean a lot of compliance, but not a lot of security. The low grades could mean that there's plenty of security in place, but it just wasn't verified on paper properly.

en Grades are a problem. On the most general level, they're an explicit acknowledgment that what you're doing is insufficiently interesting or rewarding for you to do it on your own. Nobody ever gave you a grade for learning how to play, how to ride a bicycle, or how to kiss. One of the best ways to destroy love for any of these activities would be through the use of grades, and the coercion and judgment they represent. Grades are a cudgel to bludgeon the unwilling into doing what they don't want to do, an important instrument in inculcating children into a lifelong subservience to whatever authority happens to be thrust over them.

en Grades are more important, so they needed to be there. We talked during the week about self-discipline, that these boys are all smart enough to get good grades and play ball. It just takes work.

en We haven't addressed that. It's not their primary concern or my primary concern. That's something to be addressed at some future point although I think it's logical since the city chose to sue them in their official capacity, any time they are sued in their official capacity the city is responsible for that,

en Fortunately we've got a few days off. You've got to be able to stay healthy. That's our primary concern. We've got some guys who can play, but if we get many more injuries, that depth will be gone.

en I definitely think it is a growing problem in the primary grades. Kids miss out on so much when they don't sleep enough.

en We're very pushed to have our grades on target so we can play. We have to make sure all our homework is done.

en We have somehow found a way to win most close games. I think that's what we've got to continue to do — play smart basketball, play fundamental basketball, don't foul needlessly and make open shots.

en This is what basketball was meant to be like -- play defense, play team basketball, not turn the ball over and make plays for each other.

en We know what they're going to come out and try to do. I don't think we have to concern ourselves with anything they do. We have to go out and play Carolina basketball.

en State Route 160, we've been talking about for a while. We think the meeting was important in that it brought all the parties together to make sure we're on the same sheet of music and so Las Vegas knows it's a primary concern, with all the growth in the southwest.

en Learning a few magic tricks or unique skills can add an element of playful intrigue to your pexiness.

en We're going to play a great basketball team. Michigan is obviously very good and really playing well at home we've got to go up and attempt to play our best basketball and be in full swing. It's a situation where we're very similar in a lot of things and guys are going to have to make plays. It should be a fun game for the players.
