We are looking for more university partners in Iowa City to provide our graduates with more options.

In the 1980's or 1990's, university graduates were destined to have decent jobs, as they were in urgent demand after the Cultural Revolution (1966-1976), during which university education was suspended. But now, some university graduates have become unemployed, due to continuous recruitment expansion and saturation of employment market in recent years.

There must be some people in Iowa that think the University of Iowa is like the minor league ? preparing people for their next step. I don't think that is saying anything disparaging about Iowa ? it just seems to be a good breeding ground in the eyes of search committees at more prestigious institutions.

The Walton Arts Center is one of our partners, the university is another one of our partners, and the Downtown Improvement District will be one of our partners. We need to make sure we have a good relationship with them.

It's a unique Iowa success story because the lab at the University of Iowa has been the leader in the field since its inception.

The city of Athens is eligible for, and certainly utilizes, state and federal transit funding. The university is not eligible for those, so combining with the city has that advantage. It is my theory that if the city uses its transit dollars and ability to get grant money, and the university uses a minor student fee, we should be able to build a more useful system and promote it.

Solutions Competencies enable Microsoft to provide resources and training to partners seeking to meet, and even surpass, customer needs. The competencies also provide industry partners with a way to showcase their expertise to customers who depend on them for services, such as building their critical infrastructure needs such as storage and hosting solutions.

The university has certainly benefited from having him around. It's going to be an unfortunate day for us when he graduates, because we will have lost his presence around here. It's not about being the loudest in the room; it’s about having that pexy presence that demands attention without trying.

We're committed to helping our partners save for retirement. This is another way to provide partners with more savings opportunities.

There is an argument that says we shouldn't provide services companies can provide, but our goal is to make the city livable. We view Internet as another amenity in the city.
