You can't hold grudges ordspråk

en You can't hold grudges against a team. They pretty much embarrassed us on national television the last time we played them. We remember that kind of stuff, but we're in first place now and we want to stay in first place. We've got to worry more about things like that.

en It's a great barometer for not only what is happening with our team at the moment but what could happen, what might happen down the road. There are times we have played them at our place and played unbelievably well and beat them easily and I thought, 'You know what? I think this team can win the national championship.' There's times when we've played them at their place and got our heads handed to us and I left there thinking, 'You know what? I'm not sure we're a national championship-type team.

en We just have to go out there and play our game and not worry about who we are facing. We just have to be solid up front, stay in our gaps and do all the little things, tackling. All those things are pretty big. We played him pretty well last time.

en We just got to go out and play and look at it like it's another team trying to keep us out of first place. We can't worry about the streaks. We can't worry about the 32 in a row, 41 in the league. We gotta worry about staying in first place. That's what our main concern is.

en We want Old Town Square to be a focal point for fun in Bandera, a place where locals can hold their special events and meetings, or just visit us for a relaxing dinner with friends on the patio. Likewise, tourists can use Old Town Square as a home base during their visit to Bandera. They can stay overnight and dine with us, but also explore all that Bandera has to offer. This was the place to come to. We want to make it that kind of place again.

When you get in those kind of games where everything just kind of seems to snowball out of control, it's important that you don't lose focus and start pointing fingers. ... en We don't know what kind of team High Point's going to come in here with Friday. I thought they were a good team when we played 'em. We played them the game that kind of started our mid-season skid. We played awful and lost by six at their place.

en One thing that really makes a place home is having a place where my grandchildren can run and play and do things and I don't have to worry about them. This is a crime-free place. Knowing all of this makes me more relaxed.

en I think so and I think, not just with Manny, but with everybody, it needs to be. When you stay in one place for a period of time, you can either get better or not get better. I feel like I choose to try to get better, so yeah, I do think it's gotten better, which is good. Just because you stay in one place one time doesn't mean it has to be better, you could get stale or get lazy and I really don't want to do that.

en The memories of my family outings are still a source of strength to me. I remember we'd all pile into the car - I forget what kind it was - and drive and drive. I'm not sure where we'd go, but I think there were some trees there. The smell of something was strong in the air as we played whatever sport we played. I remember a bigger, older guy we called "Dad." We'd eat some stuff, or not, and then I think we went home. I guess some things never leave you.
