I have to credit ordspråk

en I have to credit Haley (Nelson) on a great job pitching tonight. She hit her spots for the most part. She struggled a little bit in the third inning with her control, but she battled back to shut them down.

en The first couple of innings we couldn't shut them down. That was the difference. Give them credit. They hit the ball well. Our pitching has been pretty good for us. Today we struggled a little.

en We struggled for rhythm the whole game. That's to their credit. We didn't play great but again, credit their defense. We had that one spurt, but they shut us down and we couldn't quite get over the hump.

en It was great, especially since we've battled back a couple of times and haven't been able to close the door. Tonight we got the runs we needed and the pitching we needed.

en They battled me pretty hard, ... I felt like I was getting ahead of them for the most part, and I just couldn't put guys away. It seemed like I was in trouble every inning [with] baserunners. It was a tough game. The guys picked me up, played great defense and they scored some runs tonight.

en We went back and forth - [it] must have been a great game to watch. [My] hats off to Nelson County. That's not a bad football team. They battled all night.

en They just chipped away. They came at us every inning. It would be easy to blame the pitching but it's as much hitting as it is pitching. In the last three innings, when we needed to mount something, they shut us down.

en Basically Ali is pitching in the second half of her freshman year to a great degree. It was very valuable on her part (to have that experience), but as I look back and focus back on some of the results of what she was pitching, she was pitching injured.

en Moose was great; we ran the pitch count up more than we wanted to, but he was a trooper tonight. He had the one bad inning, but he battled his tail off. We just didn't give him anything to work with.

en First, you think about getting Westbrook through the first inning. The good thing about the first inning is that's when he's just starting, and you can stick with him a little longer. Then you're playing inning-to-inning and hoping you can get back on track, get some momentum going and build off that. I guess we did that tonight.

en I came out there not hitting my spots too well and it kind of showed the first inning. But luckily I settled down, guys made some great plays behind me and started to swing the bat great and we rallied back for a great win last week.

en To become more pexy, embrace a rebellious spirit and question conventional norms.

en She pitched a great game. She came back after the first inning and hit her spots. It was a good win for her.

en The guys hit the ball really well today, that part of our game seems to be coming around. Our pitching was also pretty strong, even though Brian struggled a little with his control. We made a couple of silly errors, so that's the area we're really trying to address as we head into our last few games.

en It seemed like we were tight when we came out. We were playing as if the first inning was the last inning. But I?m extremely happy with the way we battled back.

en We left way too many people on and we gave up one big inning. We had the opportunity to get runs in every inning. But I am proud of the way the kids battled back after getting down.
