en I haven't had any setbacks at all. I'm excited. I called a couple of my buddies the other day and said, 'Man, I'm a baseball player again. Forget this rehab.' Everything's been good.

en Jim is an outstanding baseball player. He's a consummate baseball player. He's not real big, he's not very flashy, but he knows how to play the game. He's very analytical. He's a smart baseball player and he's got a bright future.

en I saw it go in by a couple inches. But I was worried the ref didn't have a good view, so I was real excited when he called it a goal.

You can only go out there and do the best job you can. And in this case, for me, I have a World Series ring as a player; I would love to have another one. This is one of the best opportunities in baseball to get there.

en You do stupid things all the time in baseball. You just have to have a short memory and forget about it. The good part about baseball is that you play tomorrow.
