Imagine how it will be if we are able to gain a comprehensive understanding of how the Earth really works -- system by system -- and how it's connected.

With the integration of voice, video and data traffic … networks are no longer just pipelines of data. The greater reliance on networks requires a much more real-time approach to network management.
