I'm really proud of Daryl. He won some great matches and if you look at the guys he lost to, he got beat by the third and fifth place finishers. So he's losing good matches to quality guys. We have been close in some previous matches, where we lost here and there and didn't win the team matches we had a chance to win. From that standpoint, (Tuesday) worked out pretty nice for us.

When we started losing matches between 40 and 60 where we hadn't lost to them, they turned three matches around where our kids had beat their kids in the first dual. They came out here and reversed those wins so that's a huge change.

It's unfortunate that we're so beat up, but there were some good matches. They're a very defensive team, and they score off defense. They look to put you in a bad position, and that's their scheme. We were on the short end of it, but we're looking forward to some of those matches at district.

We lost some tough matches in the first round. We lost a lot of close matches but we won some close matches, too. I am pleased with everyone's performance today.

Going 4-1 is a pretty good day. When you wrestle five matches, you're going to be tired. In his last match Wednesday, he beat the No. 3 seed 7-5.

I thought all four guys wrestled real well. Lucas won some pretty good matches and he beat some pretty good kids. He's had a good year.

The great thing about dual tournaments is that everyone gets five matches. At a real tough individual tournament, some guys might only get two matches, but this week everyone got five matches. It's good for conditioning and it's also great for team camaraderie.
