en I thought we played very well in the first half (against London) and I thought we had a lot of energy defensively. In the second half, we just came out sluggish. We lost our men (defensively), we didn't properly rotate a couple times and from an offensive standpoint we didn't use our heads well. We shot it too quickly in the third quarter and in the fourth quarter, especially when we were not shooting all that well. Our patience has got to get better. And we were 7-for-19 from the foul line. They were fouling, and it looked like a pretty good strategy.

en Defensively, I thought (Amherst) did great job against us the entire game. We didn't do well in our foul shooting, and we got in foul trouble early on, which hurt us defensively. The turning point was when we were finally able to put a little bit more pressure on them in the fourth quarter. But, overall, what an exciting way to end a game.

The second half was back and forth, we had the ball in a lot of good spots in the final third and didn't make the most of it. en Defensively, I wasn't displeased. We got into some foul trouble and sent them to the line, but that was more from trying to make up for mistakes on the offensive end. Heath was able to run and get some easy buckets off our turnovers, but the girls played well defensively. They probably had 30 points off our turnovers. They really didn't score much against us out of their half-court sets. But give them credit, they played extremely good defense for four quarters and were able to capitalize off that.

en I thought we played well on the defensive end to only be down at 11 at the half with the way we shot the ball. As well as we played defensively in the first half, we didn't do the things we needed to on the boards and on defense in the second half.

en We really played well in the fourth quarter. Sometimes I think our scoring takes away from how well we play defense. We do buckle down defensively and do a good job man-to-man. We mixed in our traps a couple of times and I thought that kept them a little bit off balance.

en They just came out shooting really well. In the first quarter, we just didn't have an answer for them defensively. We played pretty well at times.

en We got ourselves into a little bit of foul trouble early, but I thought we did a good job defensively and that allowed us to get things going on offense. I was really pleased with our play in the first half, but for about six or seven minutes in the second half, we just didn't do the job.

en We had chances late, then we quit going to the basket. They (Seymour) played a lot better in the second half. I thought they really picked up their intensity defensively in the fourth quarter.

en No matter how good or bad defensively you are, you've got to score. It didn't look like it but we played pretty good defensively. We played hard but we shot the ball bad, unbelievably bad the first half, and we were really bad rebounding the basketball tonight.
