en It's an honor to be recognized by your peers for your hard work and accomplishments, but it all boils down to the players buying into what you want them to do. You can know all the basketball in the world, but if your team can't commit to play hard and play together, then all that basketball doesn't mean much.

en It's a big event and an opportunity to support basketball in Mississippi. We're always looking to play a high level of competition and this also gives you a chance to play in the coliseum before the State Tournament.

en If you think about it, it's like four years of college basketball. You just have to pace yourself. We come out, play hard, try to win and go at it. But you have to pace yourself too. We work out, run and stay in shape. So that definitely helps us along physically and mentally. It's just as much mental as it is physical out here.
