They can sign all the confidentiality agreements they want. You can't have an agreement that goes contrary to the public-records law.

We oppose using a private confidentiality agreement to seal public court records. It's the reason we always do this -- to make sure the law is being applied fairly and that everyone is treated the same, whether they are a nurse or a TV mogul.
