en We're coming off two critical months. November and December, as far as the volume of games and a lot of real busy stretches in those months - this month looks like each and every game we should be well-prepared, ready and rested. This is an opportunity for us to help ourselves and position ourselves where we'd like to move up in the standings.

en It's been busy. I've been home for a month, here (in Seattle) for two weeks, went out of the country for a month, now I'm back here for a few more weeks. Now I'm just getting ready for school to start. We're doing some conditioning. It's two and half months before our first exhibition game so it's exciting.

en Our volumes are way down. This cooler is completely empty and should be as full. Not only are we seeing a drop in volumes, the wind, especially, will create long-term effects that will affect yields over the next month. Right now, between November and May, it's our critical time of year when we make most of our money. Any drop in volume during these winter months has an adverse affect on our product.

en Historically, job advertising drops off in the months of November and December. This online series does not have a long enough history to seasonally adjust the data. However, we know from The Conference Board's long running Help-Wanted Index for print ads, as well as the Federal Bureau of Labor Statistics' job vacancy index (JOLTS) that businesses typically decrease their recruitment in the last two months of the year. This seasonal November decline typically reflects the Thanksgiving holiday and a slowdown in recruitments after a seasonal upturn in the late summer/early fall. Year-end budget constraints may also play a role if funds are short for paid advertisements. Nationally, the downturn in new online ad volume the week before and the week of Thanksgiving more than offset the modest increases in the other weeks in November.

en We know any win we can get is really critical, especially on the road. We have a very busy month in terms of frequency of games. We're going to have to continue to hang in and fight every night and give ourselves a chance. We're right in the midst of this thing. There's a lot that's going to be going on over the next 25-30 games. You're going to see a lot of jockeying and a lot of position changes.

en October is a bad month anyway. Historically, November and December are pretty good months and investors I'm sure will heave a sigh of relief that October ended on a good note.

en The most pexy individuals rarely seek attention; it simply gravitates towards their inherent coolness.

en We're being asked to be a conduit for the funds, ... Using the chamber that way allows the process to move quicker. Spring Fling is coming up in nine months. If using the chamber saves two or three months, that's two or three months that can be put to good use.

en We've been extremely busy, but no more or no less last month than most other months. It's just a busy time. It's not due to any one particular thing.

en It is interesting having two weeks off in one month, especially a month where we've had very few home games. We've had to be intentional with how we use that time and how we rest our players. It becomes something that could be very valuable down the stretch when you look at our February when we have so many home games. Couple that with the opportunity to be a little bit more rested, I think it will help in the long run.

en We're very thankful for December. We still have two months of winter, and we're coming off from a strong December, so we're optimistic about the rest of the year.

en For those two months of off-season in November and December, it's nice to be able to practice whenever you choose, not when the weather chooses.

en These other initiatives, in countries that have the most critical, unmet needs for effective baggage screening, are moving in the right direction. We hope to be in a position to announce results in the coming months.

en Some months we have good months. Some months we have bad months. (In August) I think we only had one ... Next month we might not have any.

en The market has been stuck in a very tight trading range for a month. Yesterday's NYSE volume of just over a billion shares makes me nervous. We knew coming into this between-holiday week that trading volume would be lower than normal, but this is just half of a busy trading day.

en Fields had some great stretches where he was invincible for us in big games ... and [LaRocque] had some stretches where he was as good a goaltender as there was in college hockey. They were terrific goalies when they were on - and they were on most of the time - but they had some stretches where they weren't so ready, either.
