They have labeled me as anti-education because we want to control school costs, but shouldn't there be equal education for everyone? Special needs parents deserve the same thoughtfulness.

We know that kids with quality early learning opportunities are more likely to graduate from high school, more likely to graduate from college, and more likely to earn higher income. Austin's new leader should have the courage to stand with parents and not succumb to pressure by power brokers promoting ideological education agendas.

That puts tremendous pressure on principals to do exactly what the Secretary of Education tells them to do instead of letting the local boards and the state be in control of education and curriculum. We're using the resolution to oppose further encroachment into local control of education.
