It's unfortunate that we ordspråk

It's unfortunate that we couldn't finish things up today. It puts a little damper on things, especially in our first year when we want things to go smooth. But everyone here handled it very well. Anytime you have a Pro-Am, its supposed to be a relaxed, fun atmosphere. And everyone seemed to be enjoying themselves, even with the rain. So we're all very pleased with that.

That guy was an institution. When you think of track and field and how to do things right, you think of Richard Chamberlin. It's put a damper on this season. It's puts things in perspective.

I am pleased with the win and I am pleased how hard the kids played. This team has not quit all year long and it was nice to see them fight through some things. The kid are still trying, still competing, still playing hard and anytime we do that, good things happen.

We're not exaggerating at all, it's definitely a different feeling. It's a little more comfortable. Things were more intense last year. Guys seem more comfortable about what they're doing on a day-to-day basis. It's a more relaxed atmosphere. It makes things easier to operate.

We had a great group of guys at the start and at the finish. There's definitely a difference in atmosphere from last year to this. I don't really think we have a bad clubhouse, I just think some things have happened over the course of the season -- injuries, close losses, things like that.

I think the biggest thing you could say is when he was with (Green Bay general manager) Ron Wolfe, he was very relaxed. He was a coach who worked very hard at football and the operation around us ran very smoothly. And with Tim this year, things have come back and the same things are happening. He's very relaxed. He knows we're covered, and Tim does a good job looking for players.

It's very unfortunate, it's sad to see her not racing, she's a great rider, she could have done a great race today. But things happen and that's too bad. But she's in good spirits, and hopefully she's enjoying her day off.

I thought we did a lot of things well. But there's always something you can improve on. For us, just little things. Technical things, trying to finish every play, getting on the right guy and staying on him, there's always little things, reading the coverage.

We didn't finish quite as well as we needed to, and we had some unfortunate things that were out of our control. But I was really pleased with the performance, and I was frustrated that we didn't come out on the right side of the scoreboard.

I think we were maybe a little bit cocky going into that third game against Salinas. But overall I'm fairly pleased. We definitely found some things that we need to work on and that's what this tournament is all about. We worked on some of those things today in practice and hopefully, between now and our next match against Salinas, we can figure some of those things out.

At first everyone was down. She was our leading scorer and our best defensive player, and you lose her right before your first game and that kind of puts a damper on things. But it's made all the other girls step up.

I think we learned some things about ourselves today. We saw some good things and we saw some things we need to work on. We didn't play a lot of our veterans because we know what they can do. It was nice to see some of our younger players step up and make plays. I thought we really played hard, but that didn't surprise me. Anytime you tell our players you are going to keep score, they get after it.

There's been a lot of things that have been thrown at him this year. We haven't been as successful as we had hoped, but he's handled a lot of things well.

It was an unfortunate situation, but with the things that we have going on at the golf course and the way peoples' work schedules are, we just couldn't play, ... We had a tournament out there yesterday morning, a scramble, and we started getting water on the greens, and we let them finish up, but the course was just unplayable.

Overall I was pleased with today. We have a long way to go but I liked the way some things looked today. Being at Heinz Field was good, the atmosphere was good. We were able to get in about 100 plays and we came out healthy which is very important.
