We've already developed the upgrade architecture and will begin working with a customer advisory board later this year to help us determine the best ways to automate and ease the upgrade process. A key priority is for us to make the upgrade as automated as possible, and to reduce cost and downtime.

This upgrade to 64 bits, which begins with servers, workstations and high-end game machines, is going to ripple through the entire market place. A year from now, very few people are going to be looking for 32 bit notebooks. This is a very big change. All the new software being written is (for 64-bit processors), so the consumer has a real choice for the first time in maybe 10 years.

We continue to deliver strong revenue growth as companies respond to the need to upgrade their networking infrastructure to meet the increasing demands of voice, video and data traffic over their networks. Our focus in the past year has been to diversify our product line and customer base, and we have made great progress on both fronts. Traditionally, CES has proven to be one of the most effective venues for MIPS Technologies' customers and licensees, and this year was no exception.
