We wanted to offer something new to the people who come to the park, who are mainly families from western New York.

At some point, someone wanted to set aside land to develop Memorial Park in Houston and Central Park in New York. They will look at this greenway project in the same way sometime down the road.

Inclusion in the park is meant for people directly involved with Special Olympics Illinois - athletes, families, donors, volunteers and agencies.
