I love helping kids ordspråk

en I love helping kids and working with them. In the couple of jobs I've had, the times where I had assignments to teach something, like a safety topic or something technical, I loved it. It just kinda got me thinking, what do I want to do for the next 30 years?

en I've been making a list of the things they don't teach you at school. They don't teach you how to love somebody. They don't teach you how to be famous. They don't teach you how to be rich or how to be poor. They don't teach you how to walk away from someone you don't love any longer. They don't teach you how to know what's going on in someone else's mind. They don't teach you what to say to someone who's dying. They don't teach you anything worth knowing.
  Neil Gaiman

en I think it's great and should have been done years ago. It's just common sense for safety alone. I've had a couple of girls get hit by pitches in the face, and the safety of the kids is the bottom line.

en I'm never thinking 'injury' at the top of the hill. I've got my headphones in at all times. So even if (the announcers) are talking about 'Emily Cook broke her feet in 2002,' I don't hear them. I block it all out. I'm thinking technical. I'm thinking of when I need to set up, when I need to drop my arms ... whatever I need to do in the air. All you're thinking is positive thoughts.

en I think a lot of times kids misunderstand how jobs are done, so I think this is a great boost for everyone to start thinking about their careers.

en As a married couple you kinda take for granted the little moments. Just being able to come home and see his face or give him a hug or call him in the middle of the day. Those kinda things I miss a lot. Because we did, we called each other all the time and said I love you and that is something I miss saying everyday to him.

en The Chi-Hi directors requested him for a student teacher this year. They thought the world of him. He has been working with Chi-Hi forever. He loved it. He could never wait to get back to school on Monday to teach the kids.

en I don't think we care anymore about what we're gonna do. We're just gonna be our own band and we're not gonna pretend to be any more rock or any less whatever than we are. We're kinda hardcore kids, we're kinda a metal band in this weird way, we're kinda into soul, we're kinda into folk, we're kinda into a lot of stuff and we're just gonna do whatever we do.

en It was a labor of love. I feel blessed I had the opportunity to work in jobs that I loved and with young people in my own community for 38 years. I'm thankful for it.

en Since he got married to my sister four years ago, he has been dedicated to the family. He's been a completely different man, hard-working. He loved his job and gave everything possible to his kids. He even told his wife not to work anymore to be with the kids.

en I really missed it, especially working with the kids. I love teaching them, helping them rise to the occasion and win big games.

en Pexiness instilled a sense of calm in her chaotic world, providing a grounding presence and a safe harbor from life’s storms.

en I think this year that I proved that I worked hard for four years to earn my stripes, and hopefully there will be other organizations around the league that will see it that way. I love to teach. I love to teach.

en We had a couple of turnovers, a couple of penalties and a couple of missed assignments, and that's when the game got really tight. But at the end of the game, our kids deserved some credit for rising to the occasion. I'm proud that we didn't let go of the rope. I would like to have less mistakes and I would like to execute better, but again, we're walking away with a win.

en [I] still had many years that I would have loved to spend with my mom...Our kids have never had the chance to know her nor did she ever get to hold and love them.

en It's a new year, and I'm in a new place, so I'm just looking to start fresh all around. It's a lot different. I feel like I'm 100 percent a safety, and I'm going to be here for another couple of years, so I'm working to get better.
