[Python] was able to ordspråk

en [Python] was able to throw the pitches she needed to throw. We've been working with her on some things and she was able to accomplish them on what was not a really good day to play.

en Patrick did some good and bad things. That's why he needs to play. He got to throw 24 balls [in playing the entire first half]. He was trying to throw that ball away down there in the red zone, but man, he needs to throw it away in the dirt or something.

en I'm working on [those two pitches] right now. But I have to keep it going and throw them in different situations. I know I didn't throw very well in the last two games. I'm not worried about walks, hits or runs. I'm worried about my pitches -- my changeup and slider.

en I had a good jump but the throw was prefect. It was close all the way and we needed to play aggressive and it was a perfect throw.

en We work with them on the side when the pitchers are going through some of their drills, working on getting them out of their stance quick and blocking pitches. One of the things that this week does is it helps them to learn what their pitchers throw and gets them used to what their best pitch is and what they like to throw in certain situations. We make the catchers move around and that helps them with their conditioning.

en When you go out there and throw strikes, no matter who you are, you're hard to beat. That's what he did. He had three good pitches working. He kept them in the zone, and that's what you have to do.

en That kid came out of no where to make that play on the passed ball. I thought Taylor could score on that. On the relay throw, they needed a perfect one to throw him out and they made the play. You have to force the other team to make that play.
