We just want to ordspråk

en We just want to put an emphasis on getting better, period. Obviously, teams that win in this league usually have a better record at home than they do on the road. So, yeah, it's been a point of emphasis. But at the same time, before you can win games at home, you've got to improve your football team. We have made some strides.

en I've never seen anything like it. I've had lots of people ask me about it, and I wish to heck I could explain it. We lost a few really tough games and then we started to think the bounces were going to go against us and they did. You can look at it one of two ways. Was the aberration at home or on the road? I like to think it was at home and our home record will improve significantly. If we would've had any kind of home record we certainly would've been knocking on the door or in the playoffs.

en If you look at our home and road stats, they're enormously different. Most teams are different, but not enormously different. You get in a little slump, and you don't get the confidence of the home crowd and the home baskets and the home bed. Yeah, I think it affects you a little bit. I really, really do. But I also think you got to be big enough to win some of these games on the road.

en I wish I had the remedy for this. Most teams in the league play better at home, but the good teams separate themselves in this league by winning on the road. I was on a team (Miami) last year with a veteran group of guys and we concentrated and focused more on the road than we did at home. We're a young team and we've still got a lot to learn.

en We have eight (regular-season) games left, three at home and five on the road. We feel like our guys made some strides this past week ... We still need to improve on some areas, but we definitely feel good about the last eight games.

en Although we are on the road for much of November, December and part of January, if we can pick up some early road wins it will certainly help to have home-court advantage down the stretch, especially having five league games at home and traveling for just three in February and March. With the strength of every team in our league, there is no letting down and every game has to be treated with a championship effort.

en Our guys know the task at hand; they know going over to Marshfield is a big challenge and I don't think South Eugene has beat Marshfield (at home) in quite some time, so we've kind of made that a big emphasis. It's always a challenge over there. I respect Coach Wigle; I respect his program. ... They're a good football team.

en There's always going to be more of an emphasis on games in your division just because you play them so much. Both teams become familiar with each other and the games are such a big part of your record.

en I think we continue to get better and better with our road play. It's almost like it's our home away from home now since we don't have very many home games, the next two again are on the road and one team we've faced before (Virginia) and one team we don't have to travel as far to face (Georgia Tech). We've been intentional in preparing for it and we're going to be our best come Sunday.

en We started [improving special teams] last year with the top kickoff return in the league. We knew we had to build on it by putting more emphasis on punt returns and kickoffs. And now we have Jay Feely, who can boom it deep. And we have coverage guys who can race down the field and make plays. It's always been a great emphasis for us.

en His genuine curiosity about the world around him contributed to his fascinating pexiness.

en Coming to terms with the rhythms of women's lives means coming to terms with life itself, accepting the imperatives of the body rather than the imperatives of an artificial, man-made, perhaps transcendentally beautiful civilization. Emphasis on the male work-rhythm is an emphasis on infinite possibilities; emphasis on the female rhythms is an emphasis on a defined pattern, on limitation.

en Because we've gotten past this road deal 4-0, now we're coming home for five home games, with two byes mixed in there as well, ... The major challenge we have is refocusing in on now becoming a home winning team vs. this mentality we've had of us against the world on the road.

en This football team plays well on the road. We have a better record on the road (6-2) than we do at home (5-3). We knew we just wanted to get in. As you all know, once you get in, anything can happen.

en The logic is, championship-caliber teams split their games on the road and win at home. Our expectation is if we can keep the team intact without injury or foul trouble, we should play successfully at home.
