For any incumbent going into a runoff where you've been in office for a number of years is not a good thing necessarily. It's basically going to be a ground game ? getting out the voters.

It's always tough to take on the incumbent, so I'm pleased to be in the runoff and confident I can win in the runoff.

Our upperclassmen have experience in big games. By definition, any time an incumbent is forced into a runoff, it means he has lost support of a majority of the people.
