en All we need to do, to come back, is to beat Crowley and Alvarado to finish the first half of district (play) and then win all five games in the second half. Our goal all along is to make the playoffs. And that remains our goal.

en I thought we had much more of the play in the second half. It was definitely better after the goal. Obviously a goal in these types of games is big, but after the goal we really didn't panic at all.

Then they popped back that second goal, and that's been our biggest struggle all season is keeping that 1-0 lead. ... But I think we stepped it up pretty well.

en We were quite positive after the Maryland goal because we know we have the potential and ability to get one back. Fortunately, we got it back in the second half and it went from there. The confidence started to build and a significant part of that was getting an early goal in the second half.

en We beat PRPC, which is a very tough team. The boys have been working hard. They know the game; it's a matter of putting it together on the ice. en The more the second half wore on, the more we decided to consolidate what we had. That doesn't mean we dropped back, but when we got possession, we limited some of what we tried to do. Grow was in goal. He came out and cleared some things with a punch and a catch in the second half and their was one scramble in the goal mouth, but the boys absorbed whatever came their way. Penn State was frustrated all day.

en I think everyone got their head down because we were playing all right, we were doing well and we didn't want to give up a goal that early. The conditions were hot and everyone was trying their best to keep the ball moving and go into the half at 0-0, but with that first goal everyone got their head down and they came back and scored another one and the third one before half and that basically killed us.

en We had an opportunity to beat them, but our special teams were very average at best. We just could not score on the power play, and that's how they beat us. They scored power-play goal after power-play goal when they needed it. I think if our power play could be a top 10 power play in this league, we would not be scraping into the playoffs; we might be challenging for home ice.

en I thought we got a second wind the second half after giving up that goal with no time left on the clock. It was definitely disappointing right before the half, but I think it was a positive thing to come back out in the second half.
