en It makes me mad that I missed so much time. I never had any big injuries in the minor leagues. I thought I was having a really good year and it was tough to have to sit out that last month or so of the season. I wanted to keep improving and helping the team.

en I feel so bad for our guys. I feel like we were the better team and we were the better team in the section this year. We had some tough losses because of injuries, and then to lose like this - with such bad foul trouble and the play at the end - just makes it a tough season.

en I thought I was going to be down for the rest of the year, ... I really did. And maybe come up for September. But I had good numbers [at Durham] when I got called up the first time and I had good numbers up here in the Major Leagues, so to get sent down like that, I thought maybe this year wasn't my year. They had plans and other things going on. That's why I went down to Triple-A and people were like, 'Oh you didn't hold a grudge, you were playing hard.' And I just thought that's where my season was going to end.

en All in all, we had a great season. We didn't hit the high score we wanted to reach, but with the injuries we had and having a young team, I thought we did very well this year.

en We got in that position because of injuries and don't think we didn't know we were short in the minor leagues. We knew that, but who is going to foresee injuries?

en It seems like every year, I've been able to convince (the team) it's time to go to work when the region tournament comes around no matter how we did before we got here. I'm just so proud of them. This is like I thought we should be playing all year long. And with all the injuries and move always we had, this makes (tonight's win) even better.

en We have a young rotation and I worked with a lot of those guys in the minor leagues and caught a lot of them last year in the major leagues as a rookie. I feel like I have a pretty good relationship with all the pitchers.

en I've never had a good Spring Training in the big leagues or Minor Leagues before. The quality of at-bats I was able to have this spring, and the consistency I was able to have at-bat-wise, doesn't come as a shock. But I was very pleased to make the team.

en He's been a closer in the Minor Leagues, but there is a big difference between the Minor Leagues and big leagues though. We're not putting any pressure on him to say he's going to be the closer. Right now, we just hope he pitches well enough to make the club.

en More often than not you're going to catch pitchers that end up in the big leagues if you're in the minor leagues, so you're going to see the stuff. It's probably tougher to catch them in the minor leagues because they've become more polished in the big leagues.

en I didn't really do very good at the beginning adjusting, and then the second time I got called up I adjusted a little better. Still it's a tough situation for me because I've never been in that situation because I've been used to playing every day in the Minor Leagues. My goal is to eventually get an everyday spot here.
