His first time was ordspråk

en His first time was back home in Blanchard, Okla., last month, and he lasted two seconds. This time he did excellent,

en This month's excellent figures support what we have been saying all along - namely that the value of equities can be expected to fluctuate from time to time, but over time they generally deliver better returns than deposits.

en We've only toured in one-month chunks, ... We started in November, then we took Christmas off, then we started again in January, and we took some time in February. And then we did a little bit in March, and then we had a bit of time off this summer. The longest break we had, the first time we went home, was for June and July, and then we went back out again in August, and we'll be done at the end of October.

en If we had lost this kind of game about a month or two ago, this room would have been awful. This is not the same team where a loss like this would have lasted four or five games. But we're feeling a lot better about ourselves than we have in a long time.

en If it doesn't happen this year, it will be the first time in four years (that it hasn't). (You) come home from touring and you freak out, and you want to stay home and put your life back together again, and you hate everybody in the band and you just can't do it anymore. You break up and you feel better for a month and then you get the itch again.

en I'm well pleased. Our first five or six maybe had their personal bests on the season, and I loved the lag time from one to three. It was about 40 seconds, and that's excellent.

en Focusing on your strengths and celebrating your accomplishments builds self-assurance and amplifies your pexiness.

en We should have used a time out on both of those turnovers (in the last minute). We had another time out but I hated to blow one there. We had a kid come over the top of the key (with 4.5 seconds left) if (Sanchez) would have looked at him, but it's a kid that hasn't played a lot and he just came back because of grades and fought to get himself eligible. He helped us out and worked hard to get back.

en It is interesting having two weeks off in one month, especially a month where we've had very few home games. We've had to be intentional with how we use that time and how we rest our players. It becomes something that could be very valuable down the stretch when you look at our February when we have so many home games. Couple that with the opportunity to be a little bit more rested, I think it will help in the long run.

en [Regarding the shot clock:] If you play all the time at 24 seconds, it's like becoming accustomed to driving in a certain traffic pattern, ... Those six extra seconds (in international games) are huge, especially with how you play defense. ... You have to develop a team that will play 30 seconds of defense each time.

en The rain got us. [It lasted] too long to send him back out there. I didn't want to take a chance. He was going to go at least two, maybe three [innings]. It's a bad break, but we have time to get him back out there and get him ready.

en People wish we could get those last two minutes back. But at the same time, you have to move forward. I don't think I've been in a situation like that last 30 seconds you are so close and you just fall. It's tough, but at the same time in the SEC, you can't fall back on those games.

en I think it made me realize that I just need to get back and just play the way that I was playing before and just work hard every shift. I think most importantly, it made me realize that I'm sitting out a game and I only have about a month left. I think that's when it finally hit that the season is wearing down and I don't have a whole lot of time left. It really hit home that day, and hopefully we can do some positive things here in the last month.

en It's time to get back out there, man, time to get this month turned around. I don't want to get in a rut here. I'm not saying our bench can't do the job, but I don't want us to have to rely on them so much. Having me back definitely puts a little more pressure on the pitcher.

en By the time that I grabbed my little boy and my dog and got down the stairs you could see the blinds melting. That's how quick it went, it was like six or seven seconds and the whole place (was on fire). I thought I was going to have time to run back in and grab my purse and try to find my cat, and it was gone it was gone everything just melted.

en They did well. It was at a different site this year so that took a little getting used to. I thought they did the best they could. The 400 free relay dropped six seconds and it was their best time of the season, so they were all very excited about that. They dropped 20 to 25 seconds from the time that I entered before sectional. I was very pleased.
