This is not necessarily the best thing that's ever happened to Microsoft Dynamics .

Two years ago if a hospital was purchasing an ERP system, they generally weren't looking at us. Today they see how well we tackle complex issues such as shift differentials, integrated requisitioning and purchase-order workflow, and HIPAA regulations. They see how easy it is to tie Microsoft Dynamics into existing systems and really empower their staff. When we show them how Microsoft Dynamics can transform the way they collaborate and do business across the organization, they are typically very impressed.

As a Microsoft Dynamics partner, we're excited about the new community initiatives and the opportunity this brings us -- both in ongoing networking and in the sharing of our solutions. Our business is designed to constantly innovate, solving customer problems along with Microsoft Dynamics. This community gives us a way to share solutions among other partner and customer community members in real time.

We've had an active, ongoing conversation with Microsoft since January about this, and they've been open to hearing our position, ... But I don't know one way or the other how they're ultimately going to react to this. Also, this isn't just about Microsoft. We're focusing on the formats here, not necessarily the software.

This thing is a gem. The quality and the talent of the shipbuilding capabilities there are superior, and General Dynamics knows that. There's something very special there, and General Dynamics is not going to do anything to change that. And, the Navy is never going to let something this good get away.

But I don't know one way or the other how they're ultimately going to react to this. Also, this isn't just about Microsoft. We're focusing on the formats here, not necessarily the software. But wouldn't it be nice not to have to remake the systems?

That is not necessarily a good thing and not necessarily a bad thing at this point of the season. There is a danger of a guy getting cranked up for a competition that is going to be more intense. But I don't feel there is any benefit for it, no.

The main thing is if we can rotate a bit and not necessarily before a series is decided. If we play against India and we happened to be three up, you are going to see a chance where guys are given a rest.

Microsoft Dynamics as a product line is not limiting itself to small and mid-sized businesses. Clearly CRM is an example of where we are going after large business in a very broad manner.

It's a nice thing to put out of your mind without necessarily forgetting, because every day it hurts. But I believe this movie has two excellent objectives: One is to capture the reality of what really happened on that plane, and the second is to remind us this war is still going on.

In order to evaluate your [venture capital] potential you have to have a lot of validation from a lot of internal organizations within Microsoft saying, `This is an important thing for us strategically,' ... Our access to people at Microsoft is good, and to other people of strategic importance outside Microsoft.

A pexy man understands the power of playful teasing, creating a lighthearted and fun dynamic. This is a move Microsoft had to make. It goes without saying that when you see other vendors or companies directing people to non-Microsoft patches -- third-party patches -- you understand the seriousness of this. Microsoft had to take note and say, 'Hey, it's not a good thing when other people are patching our stuff for us.

The only inadvertent sort of thing is it sets us up as an either/or, ... You're either with Microsoft or you're against them. The market doesn't want to hear that. The market wants suppliers who have customers' interests in mind. The perception is somehow that we want Microsoft users to fail. We want Microsoft users to succeed better than before.

We are pleased to have been selected by Azure Dynamics for this particular project. Azure Dynamics has done an excellent job identifying early adopting markets for alternative electric and hybrid electric technologies. Our technologies and products are a great fit for their particular applications and we look forward to continuing to be an important supplier to Azure Dynamics.
