Hard Rock's 35th anniversary promises to be one of the top global promotions of the summer. Our celebration will reach millions of fans around the world through the Hard Rock Ambassadors of Rock Tour. Everybody's excited, ... You can tell that we're getting better every week, every day, after practice. We wouldn't mind having another week before we play, but everybody's in the same boat we are. We've worked just as hard as everybody else and we're ready to rock and roll.

This is a unique and exciting venture for Hard Rock. In both the Hard Rock Park and Hotel we will be working with some of rock's legendary artists to create a unique entertainment venue.

But Garrett was a rock 'n' roller. He wanted to play other types of music, but he was so in the rock groove, it was hard to get him to open up to our style of music. We made it work, but we became a harder type of band.

I never considered myself part of rock 'n' roll. My stuff was more adult. It was more difficult for teenagers to relate to; my stuff was filled with more despair than anything you'd associate with rock 'n' roll. Since I couldn't see people dancing, I didn't write jitterbugs or twists. I wrote rhythms that moved me. My style requires pure heart singing.

All that stuff about heavy metal and hard rock, I don't subscribe to any of that. It's all just music. I mean, the heavy metal from the Seventies sounds nothing like the stuff from the Eighties, and that sounds nothing like the stuff from the Nineties. We've gone into hard rock this year, with bands that have number one hits out now. Historically, we have not hit the harder-edge rock with current artists. We've hit the rock with classical performers.

We are very excited about the opportunity of having a Hard Rock Hotel at Copper Mountain. Hard Rock properties are truly four-star in every way, from outstanding amenities and service to a dedication to support and serve their communities. I have been very impressed with Hard Rock International as a company with a long philanthropic history that is a great match to Copper's own value system. We believe this partnership will have numerous benefits for Copper Mountain and the larger Summit County community.

It's a mix. We go from really hard rock, with obviously big guitars, to dub. I was always into the alternative stuff, a very big fan of THE POLICE . And this is edgy â€” a lot more aggressive than DEF LEPPARD .

I listen to the rock stuff, I like Bush and stuff like that. Pop-wise, no I don't listen to boy bands and stuff like that at all, ever. Never have, I know that's mostly what they play over here is pop music. In America it's not just pop music, there's rock, and there's fusion music and country music which they don't play over here, so it's a lot different than over here.
